Position Overview
The OTC & LD Trade Validation – Credit team manages middle office activities, focusing on the validation of Flow and Exotic Structured Credit products. The role serves as a critical link between the front office (Sales and Trading) and the back office to ensure trades are processed efficiently, promptly, and accurately.
Job Responsibilities
- Trade Validation & Management: Validate trades for Flow and Exotic Credit products and manage FO/BO system queues to resolve breaks or issues.
- Issue Resolution: Utilize investigative and problem-solving techniques to address trade booking and flow issues; manage queries related to instrument static data.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for internal inquiries; collaborate with Trading desks, Sales, Accounting, Technology, and other Middle Office teams to escalate and resolve queries.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong working relationships with local, regional, and global stakeholders across Front, Middle, and Back Office functions.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas to projects and initiatives aimed at process improvement and operational efficiency.
Required Education, Skills and Experience (Must Have)
- Education: Master's Degree or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a trade support or related role.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial markets and derivative products (e.g., swaps, futures, and options).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
