Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly consolidation of Group entities, including preparation of consolidated financial statements and management reports. Own revenue recognition processes (deferred, fit-out, advance billing)
- Perform IFRS reconciliations and consolidation entries, including intercompany eliminations and adjustments. Ensure alignment of revenue accounting with IFRS and internal policies
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Act as key interface between Group Finance, FP&A, Billing, and Sales Ops
- Contribute to variance analysis for business unit management. Perform revenue and margin (flux) analysis by category and entity
- Review financial records and regulatory submissions to ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in periodic compliance testing and monitor adherence to internal controls and reporting standards.
- Perform account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues. Provide actionable insights to FP&A and business stakeholders
- Coordinate with Group headquarters and subsidiaries to align financial reporting and ensure consistency across entities.
- Contribute to the implementation and enhancement of financial controls, including system reconciliations and data integrity checks.
- Participate in special projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives within finance and reporting processes.
- Perform additional ad hoc finance and reporting tasks as required by management.
Knowledge & Attributes
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, BPC) and data management concepts.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Academic Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (mandatory).
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in financial reporting or accounting roles.
- Experience working in a multinational or shared services environment is an advantage.
