Job Description
The Consultant ERP Application Management is responsible for ensuring a stable, efficient, and SLA-compliant operation of the SAP application landscape. The role covers IT Service Management, Provider Management, and
Application Operations & Improvement.
IT Service Management
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) within the SAP application environment
- Execute and support Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes
- Analyze service performance (KPIs, ticket trends, resolution times) and drive improvements
- Ensuring stable and efficient application operations
Application Operations & Continuous Improvement
- Enhancing and further developing support and operational concepts in the SAP application environment
- Identifying and implementing optimization potentials (e.g., standardization, automation)
- Supporting continuous improvement of global support processes
Provider Management
- Manage and coordinate external AMS providers (onshore/offshore)
- Monitor provider performance (SLA, quality, cost)
- Conduct service review meetings and manage escalations
- Ensure delivery in line with contractual agreements
Additional Responsibilities
- Supporting audit, compliance, and governance activities
- Documenting processes and service delivery
- Contributing to global IT service and governance structures
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable
- Experience in SAP ERP Application Management / Support / Operations
- Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change)
- Experience working with international teams and service providers
- Analytical and structured approach
- Strong communication and coordination skills
