Job Description

Job Summary:

Responsible for supporting and supervising the delivery of HR Transformation and Change Management engagements within the People Consulting practice. The Senior Associate works closely with Managers, client stakeholders, and project teams to deliver initiatives focused on HR transformation, operating model improvement, HR process optimization, workforce experience, change management, technology-enabled transformation, and other people-related consulting engagements.

The role requires a balance of consulting, analytical, project management, and stakeholder management capabilities, with opportunities to support projects across HR process & technology transformation, digital workforce experience, HR technology enablement, payroll advisory, organizational change, and future-state operating model design.

This role is suited for candidates who can connect business needs, people considerations, processes, data, and technology to drive meaningful transformation outcomes. Candidates may come from HR, consulting, operations, technology, change management, business analysis, or transformation backgrounds and have experience supporting initiatives involving process improvement, workforce transformation, HR technology, employee experience, or organizational effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise team members in the execution of HR Technology and HRIS-related projects according to the defined project approach, methodology, and workplan.
  • Assist managers in project planning, workstream coordination, and client meetings, particularly in engagements involving HRMS implementation, HR process design, and HR technology enablement.
  • Support or lead business process mapping discussions for relevant HR modules, including Core HR, Absence, Time Tracking, Timesheets, Expense, Travel, Payroll, People Analytics, Service Delivery, Performance Management, Talent Management, Recruitment, Onboarding, Skills Management, Continuous Feedback, and Multistakeholder Feedback.
  • Gather and analyze client requirements through interviews, workshops, walkthroughs, and working sessions to understand current HR processes, pain points, business rules, and future-state requirements.
  • Prepare, maintain, and support the development of Business Process Mapping documents, Solution Design Documents, configuration trackers, requirements documents, and other implementation-related deliverables.
  • Support the translation of HR business requirements into system configuration decisions, ensuring alignment between process design, client requirements, and HR technology capabilities.
  • Review and provide oversight on configuration-related outputs prepared by associates or consultants, ensuring that work products are complete, accurate, and aligned with agreed design decisions.
  • Support the configuration or validation of complex HR modules or requirements, including payroll logic, statutory compliance setups, multi-entity configurations, performance cycles, recruitment workflows, and feedback frameworks, where applicable.
  • Support system testing activities, including test script preparation, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, defect monitoring, issue resolution, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support data migration activities, including data requirements gathering, data validation, migration design, and sign-off coordination for employee master data, historical records, and other HR module data.
  • Manage day-to-day working relationships with client counterparts and project team members to clarify requirements, resolve issues, manage expectations, and support timely delivery.
  • Conduct research, benchmarks, and analysis on HR technology trends, HRIS leading practices, process improvement opportunities, and available tools to provide value-adding recommendations to clients.
  • Contribute insights and ideas to improve project delivery, solution quality, and client experience.
  • Provide oversight on the work outputs of associate team members, ensuring that deliverables are produced according to acceptable standards of quality.
  • Understand and own associate team members work outputs in preparation for reporting the same to managers and partners.
  • Maintain active communication with managers and client counterparts to identify, escalate, and help resolve project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Mentor and coach associates through structured review, knowledge sharing, and practical guidance on HR technology implementation deliverables.
  • Attend and participate in internal trainings, development programs, HR technology enablement sessions, and people programs.
  • Develop positive relationships with peers, supervisors, counselors, and mentors who can provide advice and support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned that may be necessary to support the organization and its objectives.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Organizational Development, Communications, or any related course.

Relevant Experience:

Required (non-negotiables):

  • At least three (3) years of relevant experience in consulting, HR transformation, change management, HR operations, business analysis, process improvement, project delivery, workforce transformation, organizational development, or related disciplines.
  • At least three (3) years of relevant work experience in one or more of the following areas: HR technology, HRIS implementation, HR operations, HR transformation, HR system support, business analysis, process design, or project delivery.
  • Experience supporting technology-enabled transformation initiatives, business analysis activities, enterprise system implementations, or process improvement programs.
  • Exposure to HRMS or HCM modules such as Core HR, Leave and Attendance, Payroll, Recruitment, Performance Management, Talent Management, Onboarding, Employee Data Management, People Analytics, or HR Service Delivery.
  • Experience gathering business requirements, documenting processes, facilitating workshops, preparing functional requirements, or supporting solution design activities.
  • Experience preparing or supporting project deliverables such as Business Process Mapping documents, Solution Design Documents, configuration documents, test scripts, issue logs, status reports, and client presentation materials.
  • Experience in end-to-end project management or workstream coordination, including planning, tracking, stakeholder coordination, quality review, and timely completion of deliverables.
  • Ability to work with both HR and technology stakeholders, translating business needs into clear functional requirements and practical implementation actions.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills, including the ability to facilitate discussions, ask structured questions, listen carefully, and present fact-based findings and recommendations.

Preferred (negotiables):

  • Exposure to HR transformation, change management, workforce experience, payroll advisory, HR operations, or HR technology initiatives.
  • Exposure to ERP, HRIS, HCM, HR Service Delivery, workflow, or other enterprise platforms.
  • Relevant certifications or training in project management, change management, business analysis, HR technology, or related disciplines.
  • Familiarity with business analysis methodologies, requirements gathering, process design, or solution implementation approaches.
  • Exposure to Agile, Scrum, SDLC, or other project delivery methodologies.
  • Experience supporting modules related to Core HR, Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, Performance Management, Recruitment, Talent Management, Onboarding, People Analytics, or HR Service Delivery.
  • Experience in system testing, UAT coordination, defect triage, data validation, configuration review, or go-live readiness activities.
  • Relevant certifications in HR technology, HRMS implementation, project management, business analysis, change management, or HR functional domains.

Successful candidates typically bring experience in one or more of the following areas: HR transformation, business analysis, process improvement, enterprise system implementation, change management, or technology-enabled transformation. Experience supporting ERP, HRIS, HCM, or related enterprise platforms is highly valued, particularly where it includes requirements gathering, solution design, testing, stakeholder engagement, or implementation support activities.

This role is technology-agnostic and welcomes experience across a variety of enterprise platforms, including HR, payroll, service management, and workforce technologies. Experience with platforms such as Darwinbox, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, Oracle HCM, UKG, Microsoft solutions, or similar technologies is advantageous but not required.
