Job Description

The Senior Audit Associate assists in providing clients with financial due diligence assistance as well as business development by (i) creating detailed analysis of financial data in an Excel workbook; (ii) assisting in report preparation, including graphics and charting, and company profiles, and (iii) performing industry and market research analysis that leads to insights.

Competencies/skills

  • Have a sound grasp of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; a natural interest in working and learning to use them to an advanced level
  • Have the ability to search/source the right information from relevant sources
  • Have strong knowledge of financial statements
  • Have strong interpersonal skills
  • Have an eye for detail and be able to work under pressure
  • Have excellent written and spoken English skills, and be able to discuss and reason complex technical issues
  • Actively promote the sharing of knowledge within the group
  • Be organized and structured in the completion of tasks
  • Contribute proactively to building team spirit

Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree in Accounting is required.
  • 3+ years of progressive audit experience in public accounting required.
  • CPA certification
  • Applied working knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS)/Philippine Accounting Standards, U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP, GAAS, and SEC rules where applicable), and accounting standards and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.
  • Strong quantitative skills and an analytical approach
  • Demonstrable organization and self-management skills
  • Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, and/or other data cleansing/visualization tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with Intuit QuickBooks
  • Ability to meet challenging client requirements, provide services, and possess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research abilities.
  • Must be able to work additional hours as needed to meet client deliverables.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High degree of personal drive and motivation to succeed
  • Experience of working in a professional services environment, including exposure to high-profile transactions, would be a distinct advantage
