Job Description

Education & Experience

  • Minimum: Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or related discipline
  • Typically 2–4 years of relevant experience in audit support, shared services, or accounting roles
  • Candidates with Bachelor's degrees may be considered but are not required

Technical Skill

  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statementd
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including data handling) and Word
  • Familiarity with audit tools (e.g. eAudIT / KCW) is an advantage

Core Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and quality control minds
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks across multiple engagement
  • Effective problem-solving skills within defined procedures
  • Good communication skills for cross-border collaboration
  • Ability to coach and guide junior team members

Key Responsibilites

  • Perform audit file setup, roll-forward, and maintenance, including more complex engagements
  • Review and validate audit documentation and working papers prepared by junior team members
  • Coordinate and manage audit confirmation processes, including issue resolution and follow-ups
  • Extract, compile, and analyze financial and statutory data sets for completeness and accuracy
  • Support engagement file close-out and ensure documentation quality standards are met
  • Monitor task progress and ensure delivery within agreed timelines and quality standards
  • Act as a first point of escalation for issues and provide practical solutions where possible
  • Collaborate closely with onshore audit teams to clarify requirements and manage expectations
  • Support onboarding and provide on-the-job guidance to junior Audit Technicians
