Senior Associate - AI Governance | GSC (Client-based)

Qualification:

• Bachelor degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, business, accounting, risk, law, data or another relevant discipline.
• Typically 3-5 years of relevant experience in consulting, technology risk, IT audit, cyber risk, governance and compliance, data governance or a related field.
• Experience producing structured assessment workpapers and client-ready reports or presentations.
• Experience working with remote or cross-border teams is advantageous.
• Exposure to financial services or other regulated sectors is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in audit, technology risk, security, privacy, data governance or AI governance are advantageous.
• Foundational understanding of AI concepts and governance is a must; role-specific training will be provided. Hands-on experience in building AI solutions (traditional ML, GenAI, or Agentic AI) would be a plus

Key responsibilities

Assessment execution

• Perform structured reviews of AI governance frameworks, policies, standards, procedures, operating models and supporting evidence.
• Map existing practices against engagement criteria, including MAS AIRG requirements where applicable, and maintain requirements traceability.
• Document observations, gaps, supporting evidence, preliminary risk implications and possible improvement actions for Singapore team review.
• Prepare clear and complete workpapers that support engagement conclusions.

Governance artefacts and analysis

• Develop first drafts of governance artefacts such as policies, standards, procedures, role descriptions, committee terms of reference, lifecycle gates and control descriptions.
• Support AI inventory reviews, risk-tiering exercises, third-party AI assessments and lifecycle control mapping.
• Conduct benchmarking and research on AI governance, AI risk, data, privacy and technology-control practices.
• Convert research and evidence into concise, properly structured content for client reports and presentations.

Agentic AI governance support

• Research Agentic AI risks, governance practices and runtime controls relevant to assigned use cases.
• Support mapping of risk scenarios to preventive, detective and responsive controls.
• Prepare draft control descriptions, testing considerations and monitoring requirements for review by Singapore team.
