We are seeking an experienced
Senior Architectural Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) Lead to oversee architectural quality standards on a dynamic hotel development project. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with design specifications, building codes, and project standards.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Control
- Develop and implement comprehensive QAQC plans aligned with project scope and standards
- Conduct regular inspections of architectural work, drawings, and documentation
- Review design submissions, specifications, and technical drawings for accuracy and compliance
- Identify discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with design teams
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain detailed QAQC records and inspection reports
- Ensure adherence to applicable building codes, standards, and regulations
- Verify compliance with client requirements and contract specifications
- Prepare quality metrics and performance reports for project stakeholders
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor QAQC inspection teams
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants
- Facilitate quality meetings and non-conformance reviews
- Provide technical guidance on architectural standards and best practices
Project Coordination
- Interface with project management on quality-related issues
- Support design review meetings and value engineering sessions
- Manage change order documentation from a quality perspective
- Ensure timely resolution of architectural defects
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of architectural QAQC experience in hospitality or commercial projects
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Professional credentials (AIA, RIBA, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of building codes and standards
- Proficiency with CAD software and project management tools
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience with hotel/hospitality construction standards
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
- Experience with BIM and digital inspection tools
- Knowledge of sustainable building practices
- Previous experience with multi-phase hotel projects
- Preferably residing in BOHOL
