Role Description The Senior Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in Mandaue, responsible for leading architectural design projects from concept through completion. This role includes developing design concepts, preparing detailed drawings and BIM models, coordinating with engineers and designers, and ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and project requirements. The Senior Architect will oversee project timelines, manage documentation, and guide junior team members through design reviews and technical problem-solving. Daily activities also involve collaborating with clients to understand their needs, presenting design proposals, and integrating feedback into refined solutions. The position requires active participation in cross-disciplinary coordination to deliver cohesive, high-quality architectural outcomes.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in architectural design, including concept development, space planning, and construction detailing.
- Proficiency with BIM tools (e.g., Revit or comparable software) and experience producing coordinated digital models and technical drawings.
- Strong capability in design visualization using CAD, rendering, and presentation tools to deliver sketches, mock-ups, and final renderings.
- Experience leading project teams, mentoring junior designers, and coordinating with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Thorough knowledge of building codes, standards, and best practices in architectural and structural design.
- Excellent communication, client-facing, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear proposals.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field; professional license or eligibility for licensure is preferred.
- Previous experience in a senior or lead architect role, ideally within firms handling international or complex projects.
