We are seeking an experienced
Senior Architect / Team Lead to lead and mentor a team of architects while overseeing the successful delivery of multi-family and commercial projects. This role combines strong technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring high-quality architectural production, efficient team coordination, and excellent client communication throughout all project phases.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized architectural professional with extensive Revit and BIM experience, a strong background in construction documentation, and proven experience leading project teams in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of architects to ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Coordinate daily and weekly priorities, task assignments, and workload distribution across the team.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and the architectural team for project coordination and communication.
- Monitor project schedules, deliverables, and team performance to ensure deadlines and project goals are achieved.
- Perform quality control reviews of drawings, models, and project documentation prior to client submission.
- Develop, maintain, and coordinate Revit models for multi-family and commercial projects.
- Produce and review architectural drawing packages from Schematic Design (SD) through Construction Documents (CD).
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve design and technical issues.
- Utilize BIM 360 for model coordination, collaboration, and document management.
- Review and mark up drawings using Bluebeam.
- Support the team in resolving production challenges while maintaining company and client BIM standards.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet established quality standards, project requirements, and client expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
- Minimum of 10 years of architectural experience.
- Proven experience working on multi-family and commercial projects.
- Previous experience leading, mentoring, or managing an architectural team.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM 360.
- Strong working knowledge of Bluebeam for document review and coordination.
- Extensive experience producing architectural drawings from SD through Construction Documents.
- Strong understanding of BIM workflows, construction documentation, and quality control processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while fostering a collaborative team culture.
