Senior Application Engineer PV & BESS

About the Role: At SINELINK, we support solar and energy storage projects with certified solar DC cables, MC4 connectors, electrical BOS solutions, and China-side sourcing and technical coordination.

As our international business continues to grow across Southeast Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, we are looking for a Senior Application Engineer – PV & BESS to strengthen our technical application capabilities.

This role will act as an engineering bridge between international customer requirements, system and component selection, technical compliance, and our manufacturing and supply chain teams in China.

Key Responsibilities: • Support overseas EPCs, system integrators, distributors, and project developers with PV DC cable sizing, electrical BOS component selection, and BESS system architecture/component integration. • Review project-specific technical specifications, thermal derating parameters, and applicable international standards such as IEC, CPR, and UL. • Provide technical clarification, product comparison, BOM review, and technical-commercial support for international customer RFQs and pre-sales projects. • Work closely with engineering, product, and manufacturing teams in China to translate customer requirements into practical product and packaging solutions. • Support supplier/component technical evaluation for PV and BESS applications. • Gather engineering feedback from international markets to improve technical documentation, product development, and future application solutions.

Qualifications: • 3+ years of technical experience in solar PV, electrical BOS, power systems, or battery energy storage systems. • Strong understanding of electrical parameters, cable sizing and derating, technical specifications, and system-level BOS integration. • Familiarity with international EPC/project documentation and technical standards. • Good written and spoken English communication skills. • Strong problem-solving ability and confidence in handling technical enquiries independently.
