Job Summary

The Senior Analyst- Workplace Solutions, Compliance & Sustainability is responsible for ensuring full compliance with Philippine Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) regulatory requirements while leading the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) management systems. The role supports a 2,000 employee workplace by strengthening governance, reducing risk, advancing sustainability, and promoting a strong safety culture for SLGS PH.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance & EHS Governance

  • Ensure full compliance with Philippine EHS legal requirements, including DOLE, DENR EMB, BFP, and LGU permits and reporting.
  • Serve as the designated Safety Officer and support the organization's Occupational Safety and Health Committee in accordance with DOLE OSH Standards.
  • Conduct regular EHS inspections, risk assessments, and compliance audits across all office sites.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and non conformities lead root cause analysis and corrective / preventive actions.

ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 Management Systems

  • Lead and sustain the Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems in line with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements.
  • Prepare for and support internal, external, and surveillance audits, ensuring timely closure of audit findings.
  • Maintain EHS documentation, procedures, risk registers, and records to ensure audit readiness at all times.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to safety performance, environmental impact, and regulatory compliance.

Sustainability & Environmental Programs

  • Support and implement sustainability initiatives covering energy efficiency, waste reduction, water conservation, and carbon emissions tracking.
  • Collect, analyze, and report EHS and sustainability data, supporting dashboards and management reporting.
  • Coordinate green office programs, employee awareness campaigns, and sustainability communications.
  • Support CSR and environmental stewardship initiatives in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.

Training, Awareness & Culture

  • Conduct EHS orientations, safety trainings, drills, and toolbox talks for employees, contractors, and service providers.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture and employee engagement in health, safety, and sustainability programs.
  • Provide technical guidance to Workplace Solutions, Facilities, Vendors, and Business Leaders on EHS matters.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Sustainability, or a related field.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in EHS, compliance, sustainability, or facilities/workplace operations in a BPO, corporate, or similar large‑scale environment.
  • Hands‑on experience implementing and maintaining ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of Philippine EHS laws and regulatory compliance (DOLE, DENR, BFP).

Safety Officer & EHS Credentials

  • DOLE‑accredited Safety Officer (SO2 required SO3 preferred).
  • Completed Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) training.
  • Pollution Control Officer (PCO) training or accreditation is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong audit, risk assessment, and compliance management skills.
  • Data‑driven mindset with experience in EHS and sustainability reporting.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • High attention to detail, documentation discipline, and problem‑solving capability.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
