Senior Analyst - Reconciliation based in

The role
The
Senior Analyst Reconciliation is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial account reconciliations. This role plays a critical part in month-end close activities, variance investigation, and continuous process improvement, while maintaining strong controls and high data integrity across general ledger, bank, intercompany, and balance sheet accounts.
Your Responsibilities
- Review, prepare, and approve account reconciliations in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
- Reconcile General Ledger, bank accounts, intercompany accounts, and balance sheet accounts on a periodic basis
- Perform month-end close activities, including preparation and uploading of journal entries
- Review, analyze, and investigate reconciliation variances; ensure timely resolution of reconciling items
- Manage and clear open and aged items, including proactive and timely communication with relevant stakeholders
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all reconciliations, adjustments, and supporting schedules
- Ensure a high level of accuracy, compliance, and internal control adherence in the reconciliation process
- Identify opportunities to streamline reconciliation processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual effort
- Support audits by providing reconciliation schedules, explanations, and required documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and process gaps
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (4-year course required)
- Minimum of 45 years of hands-on experience in account reconciliations
- At least 2 years of experience in a senior role
- Strong working knowledge of general ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany accounting
- CPA license is a strong advantage
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet tight month-end deadlines
- Strong communication skills for coordination with internal and external stakeholders
- Willingness to work night shift or morning shift, as required
