About the Role
We are looking for an AI Strategy PMO professional to shape the strategic direction and portfolio-level operating model for AI across Shopee and Monee.
You will translate leadership priorities into clear AI strategies, roadmaps, governance mechanisms, and measurable outcomes. You will also run the management cadence that connects AI initiatives across markets, business domains, platform teams, AI Solution / BPM teams, and foundation teams.
This role focuses on portfolio direction, governance, impact management, and leadership decision support. You will partner closely with AI Solution / BPM owners responsible for business process discovery, solution design, pilot delivery, and rollout execution.
Job Description:
- Support the development of Shopee and Monee's enterprise AI strategy, translating leadership priorities into multi-quarter roadmaps, OKRs, and actionable portfolio priorities
- Own the portfolio-level view of AI initiatives across markets and business domains, including intake, prioritisation, governance gates, dependencies, risks, and resource trade-offs
- Establish and run regular AI management cadences, including portfolio reviews, leadership updates, cross-market alignment, decision tracking, and escalation follow-through
- Define common frameworks for evaluating and prioritising AI opportunities based on strategic relevance, business value, scalability, implementation readiness, cost, and risk
- Develop measurement frameworks covering AI adoption, productivity, quality, cost efficiency, capacity / HC impact, and realised business value
- Work with business, product, BI, and solution owners to validate impact evidence and convert fragmented project results into credible portfolio-level insights
- Prepare leadership-facing strategy materials, business cases, management dashboards, and recommendations that support decisions on priorities, investment, resources, and operating-model changes
- Support annual and quarterly planning for AI, including initiative pipeline, budget and capacity requirements, HC planning, and cross-team dependencies
- Define scalable Regional-Local operating mechanisms, clarifying ownership, decision rights, escalation paths, and the respective roles of AI PMO, AI Champions, platform teams, and AI Solution / BPM owners
- Partner with AI Solution / BPM, AI platform, Token / Model Hub, governance, and business teams to identify systemic blockers and convert them into portfolio, policy, or platform-level actions
- Track relevant developments in enterprise AI and assess their implications for internal AI strategy, investment priorities, governance, and workforce transformation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in any field A master's degree is advantageous but not required
- At least 3 years of experience in Strategy, Strategy Operations, PMO, Management Consulting, BizOps, Corporate Planning, or a similar cross-functional role
- Proven ability to structure ambiguous, enterprise-level problems into clear priorities, decision points, workplans, owners, and measurable outcomes
- Strong experience managing complex cross-functional programs, ideally across multiple markets or business units
- Comfortable working directly with senior leadership and developing C-level materials, including strategy papers, portfolio reviews, OKRs, business cases, and management dashboards
- Strong analytical and business judgement, with the ability to interpret adoption, productivity, cost, capacity, and organisational data and turn them into actionable recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex AI and technology topics for business and leadership audiences
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including the ability to drive alignment without direct authority
- High ownership, structured thinking, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through in a dynamic environment.
