Senior AI Engineer
Location: Mandaluyong/Clark/Tarlac/Cebu
Shift: Mon-Fri, 7AM-4PM PH Time
Arrangement: Hybrid, Full Time
Primary Objective
The Senior AI Engineer will design and implement intelligent systems that not only deliver advanced AI/ML capabilities but also transform these into robust, scalable products. This role emphasizes building production-grade AI solutionssuch as predictive models, LLM-powered agents, and autonomous data toolsthat can be integrated into enterprise platforms and offered as market-ready products. We seek engineers who combine expertise in AI/ML with strong software engineering skills to ensure our solutions are modular, maintainable, and ready for commercialization.
Key Responsibilities
AI/ML Engineering
- Develop and optimize machine learning models, LLM-powered applications, and autonomous agents for real-world business use cases.
- Apply best practices in MLOps for deploying, monitoring, and maintaining AI models and agents in production environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Implement responsible AI practices, including ethical use, data privacy, and governance compliance.
Software Engineering & Productization
- Architect and build scalable, modular software systems that integrate AI capabilities into enterprise-grade products.
- Design APIs, SDKs, and microservices to enable seamless integration of AI tools with internal and external platforms.
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to software engineering best practices (CI/CD, testing frameworks, version control).
- Contribute to the development of reusable components and frameworks that accelerate AI product development.
- Collaborate with product managers and UX teams to translate AI capabilities into user-friendly, market-ready solutions.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, promoting a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
Core Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python for AI/ML and backend development; experience with additional languages (e.g. Node.js, Javascript, etc) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, including design patterns, modular architecture, and API development.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and cloud-native AI services; familiarity with Azure Fabric is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience in building, deploying, and maintaining ML models, LLM-powered applications, and AI agents in production.
AI/ML Expertise
- Knowledge of data preprocessing, transformation, and integration across structured and unstructured sources.
- Familiarity with NLP and LLMs for tasks such as text generation, summarization, and conversational AI is advantageous.
- Awareness of ethical AI principles and responsible AI usage.
Productization & Scalability
- Demonstrated ability to design scalable, modular AI solutions that can be packaged as products or services.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and version control systems (Git).
Soft Skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to thrive in agile environments and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
