Senior Backend Developer (AI / Automation / APIs)
We are looking for a highly hands-on Senior Backend Developer to join a fast-moving technology team working on backend systems, automations, integrations, and AI-powered workflows.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real engineering problems, building scalable systems, and contributing directly to architecture and technical discussions.
What You'll Be Doing
- Building and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs
- Working on AI-powered workflows, automations, and integrations
- Collaborating with developers and stakeholders in live technical discussions
- Troubleshooting and solving complex backend/system issues
- Contributing to system architecture and technical decisions
- Improving the performance, scalability, and reliability of applications
- Working in a fast-paced remote environment with a high level of ownership
What We're Looking For
- Strong hands-on backend development experience
- Experience building APIs and scalable backend systems
- Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript or similar backend technologies
- Experience working with cloud services, databases, and integrations
- Practical experience with AI-powered solutions, automations, or LLM technologies
- Strong independent problem-solving ability
- Ability to clearly explain technical decisions and ideas
- Comfortable working in live brainstorming and technical collaboration sessions
- Strong English communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with microservices/event-driven systems
- Experience with AI agents, automation tools, or workflow orchestration
- Experience with AWS/GCP/Azure
