Your Job

As an Advanced Quality Planning Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring a flawless product launch for new and modified products within our CMS Business Unit Networking Segment. You will partner closely with Product Development and Manufacturing teams to develop and execute robust Quality Plans that meet customer expectations in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

This position is based in our Philippines manufacturing facility.

Our Team

You will be part of a dynamic, crossfunctional environmentworking closely with Product Design Engineers, Manufacturing/Process/Tooling teams, Project Managers, MQA teams, Suppliers, and Customers.

Reporting to the BU AQP Supervisor, you will contribute directly to continuous improvement, risk reduction, and plant readiness for new product launches.

What You Will Do

  • Execute Quality Plans for new product introductions and modifications; identify and escalate Safety/Quality/Delivery/Cost risks.
  • Lead risk analysis with crossfunctional teams, ensure lessons learned are documented, and drive systematic resolution of plant/customer issues.
  • Standardize measurement/testing methods and ensure proper MSA evaluations for new detection/measurement systems.
  • Support flawless launch, including Safe Launch activities, process audits, reverse FMEAs, and control plan compliance monitoring.
  • Assist in supplier audits focusing on new or critical suppliers and developmentrelated quality concerns.
  • Lead problem solving (8D) for launchrelated customer complaints and internal issues; drive preventive actions and systemic improvements.
  • Participate in internal product/process audits and support longterm continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee metrology strategy, ensuring dimensional capability, qualification, and proper tooling risk mitigation.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Travel up to 20% (domestic and international).

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Technical Graduate / High School Graduate / College Graduate
  • At least 5 years of experience in an Advanced Quality or related function in an Automotivestandard environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to challenge processes and drive improvements
  • Proficiency in:
  • Statistics and tools like Minitab
  • MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Trained in APQP / AIAG Tools and familiar with IATF requirements
  • Willing to travel up to 20% and work flexible hours

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Engineering degree
  • 8+ years experience in advanced quality or automotive quality
  • Strong knowledge of Metrology, GD&T, and lab equipment (CMM, CT scan, SEM)
  • Experience with testing, molding, soldering, crimping, and assembly processes
  • Background in ISO 9001 / IATF 16949, supplier auditing, gage & fixture design
