Job Description
As the Actuarial Manager, you will:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance actuarial pricing models for new and existing products.
- Conduct profitability analysis, sensitivity testing, and product risk assessments.
- Support product development from concept through launch and ongoing management.
- Lead reviews of portfolio performance and recommend product repricing strategies where appropriate.
- Manage reinsurance structures and optimise reinsurance arrangements.
- Oversee experience studies, valuation activities, and key financial reporting outputs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support commercial and strategic decision-making.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Actuarial manager should have:
- Previous experience working in actuarial pricing, valuation, or product management within life insurance.
- Strong technical expertise in actuarial analysis, modelling, and life insurance product development.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work across diverse teams and business functions.
- Continuous improvement mindset with an interest in emerging technologies.
- Professional actuarial qualifications or progress towards recognised actuarial credentials is preferred.
