The Actuarial Senior Manager for Corporate Actuarial leads and drives key aspects of management reporting, experience monitoring, and providing insights on the drivers of business results. The role also leads different aspects of the forecasting and planning cycle. The role also identifies process improvements in the planning and reporting workflow.1. Computation and Analysis of Embedded Value
2. Supports computation and analysis of forecast Embedded Value
3. Supports the annual SAA and Actuarial Assumptions Review and updates the official Best Estimate Assumptions documents for GWS requirements
4. Develop, maintain and improve EV models, including set-up of new products in the Prophet workspace, working with the centralized modeling team to vet models and ensure these are ready for production
5. Continuously improve reporting processes by streamlining manual processes, DCS automation, improving worksheet efficiencies, etc.
6. Lead BAU Reinsurance reporting and other special projects that may be assigned from time-to-time (e.g., sensitivity testing, impact quantification, special initiatives, etc.)
Education & Experience
Graduate of Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or similar courses
At least AASP level
At least ten years actuarial experience, preferably in value reporting and business planning Experience in management reporting and explaining variances to prior periods and plan
Prophet and DCS experience is highly preferred
Demonstrated process improvement advocate
Has worked in a multinational insurance company is highly preferred
