As a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist, you are a critical driver of the company's liquidity and financial stability. This role is designed for a high-level technical contributor who excels in the complexities of North American billing cycles. You won't just be following up on payments; you will be managing the end-to-end AR lifecycle within NetSuite, resolving high-level disputes, and partnering with international teams to streamline revenue recognition in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Your Impact

• Full-Cycle AR Ownership: Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, from the precise generation and distribution of invoices to the accurate application of payments. You ensure every step is supported by a robust audit trail and adheres to internal controls.

• Strategic Collections & Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for client AR matters. You will monitor aging reports and deploy proactive collection strategies to minimize outstanding balances while maintaining professional, long-term client relationships.

• Dispute Resolution & Analysis: Expertly resolve billing discrepancies and client inquiries. You will analyze financial data to identify trends, resolve disputes, and provide solutions that prevent recurring billing issues.

• Financial Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare critical weekly cash flow forecasts and AR aging reports for leadership. Your work provides the visibility needed to manage operational cash flow effectively.

• Month-End & Compliance: Take an active lead in month-end close activities, including revenue recognition, complex account reconciliations, and journal entries. You ensure all activities comply with GAAP and company policies.

• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency through process improvements and automation, leveraging your deep experience with ERP workflows.

What You Bring

• The Experience:3-5 years of progressive accounting experience with a specialized focus on Accounts Receivable. Experience with contract billing is highly preferred.

• Technical Mastery:Proficiency in NetSuite ERP is required. You also possess advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, for data analysis and reporting.

• The Credentials: A strong understanding of accounting principles and AR best practices.

• The Mindset: A proactive, solutions-oriented professional who thrives under tight deadlines. You are self-motivated, adaptable, and possess a diplomatic approach to collections and client communication.

• Communication Prowess: Exceptional verbal and written English skills, essential for collaborating with North American stakeholders and resolving complex international billing matters.
