The Senior Accounts Manager is responsible for leading client accounts, driving strategic campaign execution and ensuring overall account growth and profitability. This role serves as a key liaison between clients and internal teams, overseeing integrated campaigns across PR, influencer marketing, events and brand activations.
The Senior Accounts Manager is expected to provide strategic direction, maintain strong client relationships, mentor team members and ensure seamless execution of projects while upholding operational and financial accountability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client & Account Management
- Serve as the primary lead for assigned client accounts, ensuring strong relationship management and long-term partnership growth.
- Provide strategic recommendations and proactive solutions aligned with client objectives and business goals.
- Lead the development of campaign proposals, presentations, and integrated marketing strategies.
- Present campaign concepts, agency recommendations, and project updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and professional communication with clients, addressing concerns, requests, and escalations effectively.
- Identify opportunities for account growth, retention, and cross-functional collaboration.
2. Campaign & Project Leadership
- Lead end-to-end campaign management across PR, influencer marketing, events, and brand activations.
- Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and team responsibilities to ensure efficient and high-quality execution.
- Manage campaign conceptualization and execution aligned with approved strategies, budgets, and objectives.
- Ensure all campaign materials, reports, and deliverables meet client and agency standards.
- Lead post-campaign evaluations and performance reviews, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Monitor campaign progress and proactively resolve operational or executional challenges.
3. KOL & Influencer Management
- Oversee the strategic management of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), influencers, and talent partnerships across campaigns.
- Ensure proper briefing, coordination, and alignment of KOL deliverables with campaign objectives and brand guidelines.
- Review and monitor KOL content quality, timelines, and compliance requirements.
- Lead negotiations and coordination related to KOL agreements and deliverables.
- Maintain strong relationships with KOLs, agencies, and talent partners to support long-term collaboration opportunities.
- Manage issue resolution and escalation handling related to KOL partnerships and campaign execution.
4. Event & Activation Management
- Lead the planning and execution of brand events, activations, launches, and experiential campaigns.
- Oversee supplier coordination, production timelines, logistics, and on-ground execution.
- Ensure event execution aligns with campaign objectives, client expectations, and approved budgets.
- Monitor event deliverables, project schedules, and operational requirements to ensure seamless implementation.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to optimize event resources and execution efficiency.
5. Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and day-to-day guidance to Accounts Managers, Associates, and cross-functional teams.
- Delegate responsibilities effectively to ensure balanced workload distribution and operational efficiency.
- Support team development through coaching, performance feedback, and process improvement initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented, and client-focused team culture.
- Ensure alignment and effective communication across internal departments involved in campaign execution.
6. Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Oversee project budgets, cost estimates, and financial tracking to ensure profitability and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with Finance and Operations teams to ensure timely processing of supplier payments, talent fees, and client billing requirements.
- Ensure complete and accurate submission of required financial and compliance documents, including supplier accreditation and tax-related requirements.
- Monitor project expenses, purchase orders, and campaign budget utilization.
- Support accurate documentation and timely completion of campaign-related administrative requirements, including reports and project close-outs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5–7 years experience in PR, advertising, events, influencer marketing, or integrated marketing agencies.
- At least 5 years experience managing teams or leading client accounts.
- Strong background in client servicing, campaign management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience handling influencer/KOL campaigns, events, and integrated marketing executions.
- Strong project management, budgeting, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and accounts in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly proactive, solutions-driven, and detail-oriented.
- Strong creative and strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop impactful campaign ideas, client presentations, and integrated marketing strategies.
