Job Description

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is highly preferred
  • Minimum of 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in managing a full set of accounts
  • Prior experience in a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) environment is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting
  • Proven ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrates a customer-centric mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Self-driven, meticulous, and committed to delivering high-quality work
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Responsibilities:

  • Update electronic accounting records via excel or accounting software in use.
  • Responsible for the month end closing process and produce monthly and quarterly financial reports for management purposes.
  • Assist the Accounts Manager/Assistant Accounts Manager in the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards or other relevant accounting standards required at the end of the financial year;
  • Assist Accounts Manager/Assistant Accounts Manager in the preparation of consolidated data.
  • Preparation of audit schedules for the auditors;
  • Liaising with auditors and responding to any queries;
  • Other related accounting assignments
  • Preparation and filing with IRAS regarding GST
  • Review the work of junior accounting executives.
  • Guide junior accounting executives for bookkeeping/preparation of Financial Statements.
