Senior Accounting Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Communicates the direction of the management and its goals to General Accounting and Project Accounting teams.
• Sets team annual targets based on Division/Department KPIs and vision of Business Unit Finance Head.
• Oversees day-to-day operations of General Accounting and Project Accounting teams.
• Evaluates the individual performance of the team members being managed.
• Ensures compliance to BIR, SEC, LGU, and other government requirements.
• Coordinates with Tax, Legal, and Audit Division in closing any BIR, SEC, LGU, or any regulatory body open cases.
• Prepares financial reports and/or data analytics for management and / or regulatory bodies.
• Conceptualizes process improvement projects for teams and serves as the project champion.
• Communicates with suppliers and clients to resolve issues pertaining to processing of payments and collections and escalates them if necessary.
• Hiring manager for General Accounting and Project Accounting teams.
• Signs off accountability clearance of resigned / separated employees for Treasury, Accounting, and Credit.
• Final review of terminal pay.
• Authorized Signatory for 2307 and/or BIR Forms.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• At least 10 years of relevant accounting experience, including managerial or leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of external audits and Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) audit processes
• Experience working with SAP and/or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is preferred
