Responsibilities:
- Review full set of accounts and assists/reviews in compliance deliverables (e.g. tax returns, FS prep)
- Ensures communication timelines are followed
- Performs most review and controls related to financial reporting and taxes
- Suggests improvements to processes, templates or workflow
- Responsible for documentation and update of Standard Operating Procedures per client
- Identifies potential issues early and flags them
- Oversees Timekeeping reports of assigned team
- Weekly planning and retrospectives
Key Attributes
- Can work with minimal supervision in an entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Must be detail oriented and highly organized
Qualifications
- Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
- Certified Public Accountant license is preferred.
- At least 2+ yrs and up of working experience on a senior level in general accounting functions, Payroll, Taxation / financial audit gained from client servicing industries / Accounting Firms.
- Must have a supervisory experience / people management experience for at least 6 months.
- Experience in QuickBooks, XERO or any cloud-based accounting system is highly preferred
- Amenable to work on a hybrid set up and can travel to Mandaluyong City
