About Our Client
The client is a US based accounting/tax firm expanding their Finance team here in the Philippines.
Job Description
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with US GAAP standards.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting.
- Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Provide guidance on technical accounting issues and US GAAP compliance.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
- Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Senior Accountant (US GAAP) Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding and experience with US GAAP principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
