Job Summary
The Senior Accountant is a vital role in the financial operations function within the organization. This role drives compliance in the full-cycle accounting and daily business operations. The role also requires analytical and critical thinking, a sense of urgency in completing deliverables, and an ability to work at a fast pace.
What You'll Get To Do:
- Determine standard costs, investigate variances, monitor project costs spending, and implement improved revenue and cost cycle processes and procedures.
- Drive timely and accurate processing of transactional activities to be used in management decision making.
- Review policies / conduct regular policy assessments, identify areas for improvement and recommend actions to improve financial procedures.
- Lead compliances with all the statutory and regulatory requirements, and corporate governance standards including SOX.
- Facilitate tax statutory filing and manage tax audits.
- Develop strategies to identify, assess and mitigate financial and regulatory risks.
- Other ad-hoc duties and tasks as assigned.

- Financial Analysis - has good understanding of financial KPIs and number trends to provide insights into business performance and opportunities.
- Tax Knowledge - in depth understanding of tax and local agency laws, codes, and regulations.
- Financial Processes & Controls - has good grasp of financial processes to be able to manage day-to-day operations, drive process improvements, and implement controls to safeguard company interests.
- Business Acumen - able to understand business operations within the organization and the competitive environment of the industry to identify challenges; meet and drive execution of objectives.
- Financial tool Acumen - leverage existing financial systems and tools to facilitate decision making, planning, control and performance evaluation across the enterprise. Embraces and knowledge with new technology solutions to improve financial accuracy, efficiency, and productivity.
Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant with 8 years minimum relevant experiences in Finance
- Knowledge in financial operating system such as Oracle or SAP; proficiency in MS Excel is required.
- able to integrate and interpret data from diverse sources to find solutions.
- Passion for leading the changes - desire to challenge the status quo, develop new approaches to make continuous improvement in terms of strategy, business model, organization, people, process, and tools.
