Senior Accountant - Vendor Income & Billing

Location: Clark

Shift: 9:00PM - 6:00AM (Monday-Friday) PHT
Work Arrangement: Hybrid

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Senior Accountant - Vendor Income & Billing is responsible for endtoend analysis, validation, and governance of vendor income programs, including accruals, billing, collections, and credit exposure management. This role serves as a key control point between Accounting, FP&A, Merchandising, and Accounts Receivable to ensure vendor income is accurately recognized, timely billed, and fully collectible, in accordance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies.

This position plays a critical role in protecting revenue integrity, reducing credit risk, and improving cash realization from OEM and vendor programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Vendor Income

  • Analyze vendor income programs (sellin and sellthrough) to ensure accurate accrual, recognition, and forecasting.
  • Prepare and review monthly vendor income calculations; reconcile actuals to forecasts and contractual terms.
  • Identify variances, data gaps, or program compliance issues and coordinate resolution with crossfunctional teams.
  • Support monthend close through preparation and review of journal entries and supporting documentation.

2. Credit Management

  • Validate vendor income invoices prior to issuance, ensuring amounts are supported by OEM agreements and underlying data.
  • Partner with Accounts Receivable to track open receivables, disputed amounts, and credit memos related to vendor income.
  • Monitor aging, follow up on overdue balances, and escalate collection or dispute risks as appropriate.
  • Support resolution of vendor shortpays, offsets, and deductions.

3. Credit Risk & Controls

  • Monitor vendor credit exposure related to incentive programs, returns, and clawbacks.
  • Assess collectability risks and recommend reserves or process adjustments where warranted.
  • Maintain strong internal controls, documentation standards, and auditready support for vendor income activity.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, contractual terms, and U.S. GAAP revenue recognition guidance.

4. Cross-Functional Partnership & Reporting

  • Act as a primary accounting contract for FP&A and Merchandising on vendor income matters.
  • Support recurring vendor income reviews and forecast discussions.
  • Develop and maintain reporting and analysis (including dashboards or schedules) to improve visibility into vendor income performance and credit risk.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-4+ years of general accounting experience.
  • Hands-on experience with accruals and reconciliations.
  • Experience working with Oracle-based or similar ERP financial systems (strongly preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, index/match, pivot tables, formula auditing).
  • Strong English communication skills to collaborate effectively with the U.S. accounting team and manage team discussions related to accruals.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently under structured SOPs.
