Senior Accountant - Temporary

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a temporary (reliever) basis. In this role, you will manage and oversee cash accounting and financial reporting activities while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. You will work closely with the Team Leader to support daily accounting operations, mentor team members, and contribute to process improvements in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Generate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reports.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cash reconciliations for bank accounts.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in cash balances.
• Ensure proper matching of bank transactions with accounting records.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accountants.
• Analyze financial trends to support business decision-making.
• Identify unusual transactions or anomalies through data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy, accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or accounting, including international experience.
• Must have a stable employment history.
• Familiar with US GAAP or US accounting principles.

Work Schedule

6PM – 3AM PHT Monday - Friday
