Role Description The Senior Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Angeles, responsible for managing and overseeing day-to-day accounting operations. This position includes preparing and reviewing financial statements, maintaining the general ledger, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing activities. The Senior Accountant will oversee bank reconciliations, support budgeting and forecasting, monitor cash flow, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies. The role also involves collaborating with leadership on financial analysis, providing actionable insights to support business decisions, coordinating with external auditors, and continuously improving accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Strong technical accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and familiarity with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS or GAAP).
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as Microsoft Excel and other productivity tools for analysis and reporting.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling to support strategic decision-making.
- Knowledge of tax compliance, regulatory requirements, and best practices in internal controls and audit preparation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is an advantage.
- Several years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a senior or supervisory capacity and within a service-oriented or outsourcing environment.
