Senior Accountant - Real Estate (US)

Work Setup & Schedule:

• 5:00am to 2:00pm PHT (Monday - Friday)
• Hybrid setup with 1–2 days onsite per month or quarter.

What you'll be doing:

• Financial Analysis & Underwriting: Supports financial models, development budgets, cash flow projections, financing assumptions, variance analysis, and investment return analysis.
• Acquisition & Due Diligence: Maintains acquisition and financing trackers, reviews transaction documents, supports lender/investor reporting, and monitors outstanding requirements.
• Development & Portfolio Reporting: Manages project budgets, commitment logs, draw schedules, invoice tracking, milestones, and recurring portfolio reports.
• Market Research: Conducts market, demographic, rental rate, and comparable property research and supports investment presentations and reports.
• Accounting Support: Handles reconciliations, invoice support, budget-to-actual analysis, month-end/year-end processes, and audit documentation.
• Systems & Process Improvement: Maintains accurate financial data and documentation, supports dashboards and SOPs, and ensures records are organized and audit-ready.

Non-Negotiable Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, particularly in:
• Financial modeling
• Lookups and PivotTables
• Data reconciliation
• Sensitivity analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft 365
• Experience preparing financial reports, schedules, and analyses
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Highly organized with strong documentation and attention to detail
• Able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Willing and able to work overlapping U.S. business hours
• Reliable remote work setup and internet connection

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in real estate financial analysis, commercial real estate underwriting, development support, property accounting, transaction support, or financial outsourcing
• Experience supporting commercial real estate acquisitions and development
• Knowledge of key investment metrics such as IRR, Equity Multiple, Cap Rates, LTC, LTV, and DSCR
• Experience in property-level accounting and financial reporting
• Experience supporting U.S.-based real estate investment, development, asset management, or accounting teams
• Background in investment reporting and market research
• Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity and data analysis tools
