We are seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to support multiple clients by ensuring accurate and timely financial management in line with GAAP standards. This role offers the opportunity to work across different industries while providing essential accounting and client support services.

Job Overview:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for delivering high-quality, GAAP-compliant accounting services to multiple clients with minimal supervision. This role involves handling day-to-day accounting tasks, collaborating with team members such as Accounting Managers, Payroll Specialists, and Controllers, and working closely with Startup CFOs to ensure timely and accurate financial support. The position requires strong independent judgment, adaptability in assisting other team members when needed, and a commitment to maintaining client satisfaction through reliable and professional service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform monthly and quarterly account and bank reconciliations, as well as credit card processing.
  • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.
  • Handle payroll processing using various payroll systems.
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, finance leaders, and team members to meet priorities and deadlines.
  • Provide timely responses to information requests and technical support.
  • Understand client operations to deliver accurate and relevant financial support.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure completion within agreed timelines.
  • Contribute to process improvements and client satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, IF statements, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with ERP systems and business tools.
  • Experience with multi-entity or startup clients is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
