About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Accountant to build and run the accounting backbone of our Cebu Delivery Center. This role goes beyond transaction processing. You will set up end-to-end accounting processes, establish controls, and ensure accurate financial reporting across multiple entities and currencies. You will operate with a high level of independence and are expected to bring structure, discipline, and clarity to a growing operation. The role is onsite in Cebu and follows US Eastern Time business hours.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end accounting processes from transaction recording to reporting.
- Establish and enforce financial controls, documentation standards, and audit readiness practices.
- Manage accounting operations across multiple entities, locations, and currencies.
- Oversee accurate recording of financial transactions and completeness of supporting documentation.
- Drive month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting with minimal supervision.
- Build and maintain structured financial records to support internal and external audits.
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or risks in current processes and fix them.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure consistency and compliance across locations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5–8+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in shared services, professional services, or global environments.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience setting up or improving end-to-end accounting processes.
- Strong experience handling multi-entity, multi-location, and multi-currency transactions.
- Proven ability to maintain audit-ready records and support audits.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with QuickBooks or similar systems.
