Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Alaminos. The Senior Accountant will oversee financial reporting, prepare and analyze financial statements, manage general ledger entries, and ensure compliance with tax regulations. The responsibilities include leading month-end and year-end closing processes, conducting account reconciliations, reviewing budgets, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. The role also involves providing mentorship to junior accounting staff and collaborating with other departments to ensure the accuracy of financial data.

Qualifications

• Advanced skills in financial reporting, financial statement preparation, and analytical problem-solving
• Proficiency in general ledger management, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes
• Comprehensive knowledge of tax laws, compliance regulations, and budgeting methodologies
• Proficiency in using accounting software and tools; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is highly preferred
• At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with some background in management or leadership roles
• Experience in the outsourcing industry, particularly for U.S.-based companies, is an advantage
