Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant based in Alaminos. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the overall financial processes of the business. Daily tasks include preparing financial statements, managing general ledger activities, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records. The role also involves analyzing financial data, assisting in budgeting, and providing insights to support business planning and decision-making. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet reporting deadlines and addressing complex accounting challenges will also be key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Strong financial accounting expertise in preparing financial statements and managing general ledger processes
• Experience with tax compliance, payroll processing, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and providing actionable insights
• Advanced skills in accounting software and tools, and familiarity with modern financial technologies
• Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is highly preferred
• Previous experience (minimum 5 years) in financial accounting and reporting is an asset
