Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will supervise day-to-day financial transactions, support project accounting, and ensure accurate reporting across manufacturing and service operations, working closely with project managers, procurement, engineering, and leadership teams.

Key Position Accountabilitie

sFinancial Reporting & Complianc

• eSupervise month-end close, perform balance sheet reconciliations, prepare management accounts and ensure ledger integrit
• yEnsure ATO compliance (BAS, GST, FBT), coordinate year-end audit and produce financial statement

sBudgeting & Forecastin

• gProvide analysis on financial performance vs budget and forecasts and collaborate with teams on cost drivers and projection
• sCoordinate forecasting processes and assist in annual budgets and strategic financial plan

sInventory & Project Cost Accountin

• gLead inventory reconciliation, analyse inventory movement, forecast requirements and maintain balance sheet integrit
• yTrack project cost allocation, monitor profitability/WIP, and liaise with project managers on variance

sPayroll Processing & Contro

• lProcess payroll, onboarding, records, terminations and resolve discrepancie
• sEnsure compliance with payroll obligations and prepare payroll reconciliation

sProcess Improvement & System Administratio

• nAnalyse workflows, identify automation opportunities and enhance internal control
• sMaintain finance policies, Chart of Accounts, cost centres and system update

• ldMinimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in manufacturing/FMCG, construction, or logisti
