Job Description – Senior Accountant

Overview

We are seeking a highly capable and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support corporate accounting and reporting functions for a US Based Company. This role involves managing complex general accounting activities, ensuring the integrity of financial data, driving process improvements, and supporting financial close and audit processes. The Senior Accountant will serve as a strong #2 to the Corporate Controller.

Must have own laptop, internet connection and willing to work USA shift hours.

• Manage and execute complex general accounting activities across multiple entities.

• Prepare and review financial consolidations, close packages, and internal/external financial reporting.

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

• Assist in preparation of financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.

• Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to corporate accounting policies.

• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, responding to queries, and ensuring documentation completeness.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to finance process re-engineering initiatives.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in public accounting.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in industry accounting roles.

• Experience supporting multi-entity consolidation and reporting.

• Strong understanding of internal controls and accounting principles.

• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and Excel proficiency.

• Process improvement and finance re-engineering skills preferred.

• Management experience is a plus but not mandatory.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
