We're looking for a Senior Accountant with strong General Accounting/ Ledger and Financial Reporting experience who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. What You'll Own
Financial Close & General Ledger
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring timely, accurate, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
- Review, approve, and post complex journal entries, accruals, allocations, and reclassifications.
- Maintain the integrity of the General Ledger by ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Perform complex balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, and variance investigations.
- Analyze financial results, identify risks or unusual trends, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
- Support the preparation of financial reports, schedules, and management reporting packages.
- Ensure financial reporting is accurate, complete, and audit-ready.
Collaboration & Business Partnership
- Partner with Finance, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve financial processes.
- Support internal and external audit activities by preparing documentation and responding to audit requests.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate reporting requirements.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and strengthen financial controls.
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- Support finance transformation initiatives and contribute to operational excellence across the accounting function.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related Business discipline.
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience in General Ledger, Financial Reporting, Record-to-Report (R2R), or General Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems, along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proven ability to perform financial analysis, investigate variances, and solve complex accounting issues.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
It's a Bonus If You Have
⭐ CPA certification or are actively pursuing your CPA qualification.
⭐ Experience in the payments, credit card processing, fintech, banking, or financial services industry.
