Senior Accountant for our Awesome CX by Transcom Davao site. This role will focus on the day-to-day management of general accounting operations, including reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing for month-end close procedures.

- Bank, AR and other reconciliations.
- Support the Accruals/Prepayments/Payroll processes.
- Manage Clinic finance and month-end operations turnover, liabilities, payroll.
- Compile data and reports for Business Partner department meetings, Finance VP & CFO.
- Support the Finance Operation Manager/Assistant Controller and lead Business Partner department meetings.
- Generate and maintain up to date Aging/Collections.
- Manage depreciation/intercompany/cross charges along with other similar P&L impacting items.
- Prepare, review and approve journal entries for month-end close.
- Manage the Balance Sheet and General Ledger accounts.
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.
- Plan, assign, and review AR Admin role work.
- Prioritize key month-end and year-end close processes and tasks.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Work alongside and support the FP&A team in completing the monthly forecast.
- Liaise with the Kate Somerville Finance Manager to improve the month end and other financial procedures.
- Handle new customer setup requests and updates to existing customers.
- Conduct ad hoc General Ledger investigation and analysis.
To be successful in this role, you must have...
- Accuracy, attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures.
- Experience in a similar senior accountant role (5+ years).
- Prior NetSuite or similar ERP experience is essential.
- Professional accounting qualification/certification preferred.
- Systems: NetSuite (ERP), Shopify/payment providers platforms, FloQast (Month-end).
