Senior Accountant (Financial Reporting)

Role description:

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant based in Metro Manila. The role is responsible for supporting financial reporting activities, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, including U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant frameworks.

The Senior Accountant will work closely with the team on audit engagements and tax filings, manage client accounts, and maintain accurate and complete records of financial transactions. The role also involves identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls, as well as collaborating with team members to ensure high-quality deliverables and consistent operational standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA designation not required)
• At least 2 years of experience in preparing financial statements
• Working knowledge of IFRS and/or U.S. GAAP (experience in financial services or asset & wealth management is an advantage)
• Strong attention to detail with solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; QuickBooks experience is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Compensation:

• Starting salary: ₱47,000 per month (subject to experience and qualifications)
