Job Description

Who we are:

Stable. Supportive. Success-driven. eFlexervices is a premier BPO company with a 24-year track record of excellence. We don't just fill seats; we invest in human potential. We are dedicated to finding the perfect fit for your skills and helping you optimize your career performance. If you're looking for a company that values exceptional quality and operates on a foundation of trust, you belong at eFlex.

What we are looking for:

Are you ready to take your expertise to the next level At eFlexervices, we're not just hiring for a Senior Accountant – we're empowering your talent to deliver quality and performance. Join us in shaping the success and making an impact that truly matters.

The Senior Accountant will own the end-to-end General Ledger (GL) lifecycle. We are looking for a big picture thinker who moves beyond transactional data entry to manage full-cycle consolidations, complex reconciliations, and intercompany eliminations. You aren't just part of the process; you are the driver of ledger integrity. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and the ability to leverage technology to enhance workflows. This position requires an individual who is deadline-oriented and flexible. The successful candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, with experience using and developing reports.

What you'll be doing:

  • Full Cycle Management: Execute and oversee the full-cycle month-end close process, ensuring all sub-ledgers (AP/AR/Payroll) are accurately integrated into the General Ledger.
  • Complex Technical Accounting: Apply technical expertise in US GAAP to manage complex accounting areas such as revenue recognition (ASC 606), lease accounting (ASC 842), and intercompany consolidations.
  • Audit Ownership: Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, managing the PBC (Provided by Client) list and ensuring no material weaknesses in financial reporting.
  • Focus on Process Strategy: Evaluate existing workflows to transition from manual data entry to automated system-driven reporting, specifically leveraging Workday/Office Connect features.
  • Responsible for own end-to-end general ledger processes, including closing procedures, account analysis, recording journals, reconciliations, and subledger activities in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Analytical review of the monthly P&L & Balance Sheet. Investigating variances and flagging areas not aligned to the plan as part of the monthly close review, which requires deep understanding of accruals.
  • Produce and present financial analysis reports for company departments to support KPI & budgetary control.
  • Participate in the ongoing development and establishment of accounting policies, procedures, and operational strategies, including the review and implementation of process and system changes.
  • Maintain a strong control environment and contribute to the continuous improvement of process automation and standardization.
  • Lead finance process enhancements through the use of technology.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of private sector corporate accounting experience. Must have completed at least 2-3 full fiscal year-end cycles with a single entity.
  • Proven experience in Consolidations and Intercompany Eliminations (not just exclusive to AP/AR or specific sub-ledgers).
  • Proactive, self-starter, and with a strong sense of leadership
  • CPA certification is highly preferred.
  • Advanced Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, complex nested formulas) and experience with ERP implementations.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to dive deep into a single, complex entity's financial health, identifying trends and risks that go beyond basic book clean-up.
  • Strong Financial Systems experience. Workday & Office Connect would be an advantage. QuickBooks is also preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are needed to collaborate with team members within and outside the Finance Team
  • Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently.
  • Must have a strong understanding of US GAAP
  • Have experience working for a US or offshore client

Core competencies:

  • Proactive: The Senior Accountant will take the lead in problem-solving and process improvements.
  • Detail-Oriented: The Senior Accountant will demonstrate attention to detail to ensure accurate financial data.
  • Team-Oriented: The Senior Accountant will have strong interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate within and across departments. They will be mentors for the junior members of the team.
  • Self-Starter: The Senior Accountant will take ownership of their work and have a mindset of growth and continuous improvement.
  • Strong written and verbal skills: The Senior Accountant can communicate effectively and professionally with team members
