Review working papers, summary schedules (including alphalists and summary lists), and BIR tax returns prior to filing to ensure accuracy and compliance
Review payroll tax, ITR, and financial statements
Ensure compliance with business permits, PCAB requirements, and PEZA documentation
Support financial reporting, payroll compliance, and monthly/annual statutory submissions
Handle client and supplier tax inquiries and stay updated on tax regulations
Respond to internal and external inquiries related to tax and compliance matters
Coordinate documentation and communication during BIR audits (LOA, NOD, formal letters)
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
CPA holder
Minimum 5 years relevant accounting experience
Experience handling BIR audits and direct interaction with BIR officers
Strong knowledge of BIR regulations, SEC compliance, and government reporting requirements
Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and professional communication skills
