Senior Accountant

Location: Parañaque City, Metro Manila

Work Setup: Onsite

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Salary: PHP 60,000 – PHP 100,000 per month

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our client's finance team. The role will support full-cycle accounting operations, financial reporting and analysis, taxation, compliance, financial controls, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Determine standard costs, investigate variances, and monitor project costs and spending.

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.

• Perform financial reporting and analysis to support management decision-making.

• Review financial policies and procedures and recommend process improvements.

• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.

• Support SOX compliance and maintain effective financial controls.

• Facilitate tax statutory filings and tax audits.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and regulatory risks.

• Support improvements in revenue and cost-cycle processes and procedures.

• Perform other finance-related and ad hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – required

• At least 5 years of relevant Finance/Accounting experience

• Strong experience in financial reporting, taxation, and financial analysis

• Good understanding of financial processes, internal controls, and compliance

• Knowledge of local tax laws, codes, and regulatory requirements

• Experience with standard costing and variance analysis is preferred

• Knowledge of financial systems such as SAP or Oracle is an advantage

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills

• Detail-oriented with strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills

• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
