The Senior Accountant - CPA will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting operations for the RC Group of Companies, including but not limited to bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and internal controls. This role ensures that all financial transactions — from property sales, rentals, and corporate operations — are accurately recorded and reported in compliance with accounting standards and government regulations.
Key Responsibilities
General Accountant & Bookkeeping
- Oversee and manage all accounting transactions for multiple companies under the RC Group.
- Record daily financial transactions, including sales, collections, expenses, and bank transactions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledgers.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Generate management reports to support business decision-making.
- Conduct financial analysis to monitor company performance.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets for each company.
- Track budget variances and provide recommendations for cost control.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process and monitor all payments to suppliers and service providers.
- Oversee billing, collection, and recording of receivables.
- Ensure timely follow-up on overdue accounts.
Tax Compliance & Regulatory Requirements
- Handle preparation and filing of all BIR tax returns (VAT, EWT, Income Tax, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with SEC, BIR, LGU, and other government agencies.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.
Internal Controls & Coordination
- Implement and monitor internal accounting policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with the sales, admin, and operations teams for financial data requirements.
- Safeguard company assets through proper accounting practices.
Qualifications
- Masters or Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.
- At least 6 to 10 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the real estate industry or multi-company setup.
- Proficient in both manual accounting processes and computer-based accounting systems/software.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation and government compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Odoo) and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple companies accounts.
- Willing to work onsite at Malate, Manila
Salary:
