JOB TITLE: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - CPA (WFH)

OFFER RATE: PHP 50,000 per month (Fulltime)

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Gabtech. The role requires a strong candidate with good knowledge of finance operations and the ability to get involved with all aspects of the day-to-day activities of finance and help build robust processes.

The role has a broad remit and will provide excellent finance exposure. The role requires a strong understanding of Financial Accounting together with the ability to problem solve, work independently and directly with team members across Gabtech.

General responsibilities include financial accounting together with a variety of ad-hoc tasks across finance.

Responsibilities:

Assisting with accounting tasks such as invoicing or tracking purchase order numbers

Creating staff payrolls and approving client or supplier payments

Investigating accounting irregularities, mistakes or potential fraud

Producing regular financial reports, such as budgets or cash flow forecasts

Offering advice and suggestions to management that can improve the accounting processes and financial stability of a company

Reconciling balance sheets

Ensuring compliance with legal accounting standards

Perform month-end and year-end close processes

Assist senior management with designing and implementing accounting functions and controls.

Requirements

A qualified accountant, with at least 4-5 years experience working in a finance team.

CPA (Certified Public Accountant)

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work to tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy

Strong work ethic

Strong Excel skills

Candidate should be positive, confident, self-motivated, proactive and flexible

Experience in producing financial statements in multiple accounting regimes

Experience with accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics)
