What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare and review complex financial statements in line with Australian Accounting Standards.
- Lead preparation and review of tax returns across individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
- Handle BAS, FBT, GST compliance with precision and timeliness.
- Mentor and review the work of intermediate and junior accountants.
- Provide insights into tax planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ensure workpapers and reconciliations are accurate, complete, and audit-ready.
- Research and apply ATO rulings and legislation to resolve tax issues.
Who You Are
- Experienced in Australian accounting and tax compliance at a Senior Accountant level.
- Knowledgeable in Australian Accounting Standards, with proven tax expertise.
- Proficient with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, HandiTax or similar.
- Detail-driven professional with leadership and mentoring skills.
- Confident communicator with global client experience.
