Job Summary
The Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients while overseeing the successful planning and execution of below-the-line (BTL) marketing campaigns. Serving as the primary point of contact, this role ensures client objectives are translated into activations, events, sampling programs, and other on-ground marketing activities. The Account Manager works closely with internal teams, operations, creatives, and field personnel to deliver campaigns on time, within budget, and to the highest standard, while identifying opportunities to grow client accounts and drive long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of services according to client needs and objectives.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement.
- Forecast and track key account metrics.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory.
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Has experience with below-the-line (BTL) marketing campaigns (events, activations, sampling, etc.)
- Proven experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, or relevant role.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in the advertising, marketing, or events industry is preferred.
