Position: SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER
Department: Client Service
Job Objective
The position is responsible for effectively managing the day-to-day requirements / projects of Agency clients.
Reporting Lines
Reports to Account Director / Group Account Director
Principal Working Relationships
Clients, Creative, Creative Services, Finance, Traffic, other Agency Personnel, ASC, Producers and Suppliers, Media.
Key Responsibilities
I. Account Stewardship
- Build strong, long-term client relationships
- Act as point of contact for clients and address queries effectively and in a timely manner
- Provides weekly project/status updates to Client
- Conducts trade checks and monitors weekly competition via database or on site as a reference for preparing competitive reports
- Shares competitive updates, industry news, best practices with Client
- Monitors feedback on campaigns launched
- Works with Traffic in managing account workload requirements
- Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and spot opportunities for the brand
- Ownership of brand pages/assets and works with support teams to ensure that these are well managed
II. Campaign Development and Production
- Prepares and Issues Job Orders
- Collaborates with the Creative and Digital services team, Production, Suppliers and the Client to ensure submission of deliverables as stated in the Job Order
- Prepares estimates of project timelines and manages these
- Prepares presentation decks
- Coordinates with media for release of materials for airing and publication
- Coordinates with/briefs other agencies, media/BTL, for implementation of plans and strategies in its respective discipline
- Initiates cost estimate development for production
- Identify opportunities for press coverage linked to campaigns
- Manage and adjust social calendar as needed
III. Reports
- Leads competitive report and presentation to client
- Captures agreements from meetings via Call Reports and aligns with the team
- Regularly check on page performance/social listening and act accordingly
- Prepare post evaluation and social reports. Analyze impact and implications to the brand
IV. Regulatory Compliance
- Facilitates clearances / permits needed
- Ensures that campaigns comply with ASC rules and regulations
- Compiles and submits requirements for ASC clearances or hearings
- Applies for DTI/FDA permits as needed
V. Administrative Responsibilities
- Keeps brand files/ resources
- Monitors and tracks cost estimates and post production reports
- Manages talent/influencer contracts, track milestones and ensure agreed scope are met
- Assists in monitoring of man-hours on the account
VI. Strategic Plan
- Assists supervisor and planning in preparing and presenting campaign strategy, creative briefs and campaign frameworks
- Works with supervisor and strategic planning team for planning initiatives
VII. Other responsibilities
- Performs all other necessary tasks that may be assigned by the Group Account director/Account Director from time to time
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of any 4-year college course
- 2 years relevant business experience in an agency or related field
