Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role located in Manila, Philippines, with partial work-from-home flexibility. As a Security Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical consulting to clients, supporting presales efforts, and designing tailored security, network and occasionally other IT solutions. You will be involved in the integration of security technologies and collaborate across teams to ensure client requirements are met effectively. The role also involves offering support for system implementation and acting as a security subject matter expert during client interactions.
Qualifications
- Experience in Consulting and Presales, including engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and providing strategic recommendations
- Familiarity with Sales processes and the ability to present solutions effectively to prospective clients
- Knowledge of Integration processes for security systems and related technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Tagalog and preferably Bisaya
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus
Key responsibilities
Solutions/Presales Engineering
- Execute technical presales activities by developing and presenting customized technical solutions tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with prospects during the sales process through demos, proofs of concept, and detailed technical proposals.
- Report on the technical delivery activities of the presales and solutions engineering for channel partners and direct sales teams.
Business Development and Sales Expansion
- Drive new business generation efforts with direct customers to achieve personal sales targets.
- Actively contribute to winning new clients in collaboration with the sales and channel teams.
- Promote revenue growth across product and service portfolios and provide regular reports on sales outcomes.
- Support technical evaluation and the launch of new services and products to create additional revenue streams, including systems architecture, integration, and related solution documentation to ensure successful business development and service delivery.
Channel Partner Development and Support
- Empower channel partners by providing structured support, including enablement, business development assistance, and technical support.
- Maintain frequent engagement with partners to monitor sales progress and address challenges in the sales process.
- Establish and strengthen partnerships with technology vendors and channel partners to drive sustainable business growth.
