Security Risk & Intel Analyst

The Security Risk and Intelligence Analyst will oversee security threats and risks impacting the organization on both global and local levels. Responsibilities include risk assessments, intelligence gathering, incident response, policy development, employee training, and reporting.

- Gather intelligence from various sources to identify emerging risks.

- Conduct training sessions to promote security awareness among employees.

- Prepare and present reports on security risks and actions taken to management.

Job Description

Primary duties may include but are not limited to Conduct open-source research and datamining to identify emerging issues and assist with the development of scheduled and ad-hoc intelligence reports. Conduct real-time monitoring of global events and coordinate with global security teams to respond to incidents that could affect company personnel, assets or operations. Develop actionable insights and recommendations from gathered open-source information to support decision-making and provide early warning of physical and operational risks to the company. Provide intelligence support to various protection programs, including Travel Security, Executive Protection, and Transportation and assist with record keeping of products and updating matrices for monthly operations reports.

Risk Assessment

• Identify and analyze potential security threats to the organization in both global and local contexts.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to evaluate the company's security posture.

Intelligence Gathering

• Monitor various sources of intelligence, including news, social media, and threat databases, to stay informed about emerging risks and trends.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and security agencies to gather relevant intelligence.

Incident Response

• Assist in responding to security incidents and breaches, conducting investigations, and providing recommendations for mitigation.
• Maintain effective incident response protocols and report findings to management

Policy Development

• Develop and implement security policies and procedures that address identified risks.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and global security standards.

Training and Awareness

• Conduct training sessions for employees on security best practices and risk awareness.
• Promote a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.

Reporting

• Prepare detailed reports on security risks and incidents

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in security, Computer Science, or any related field.
• Experience in security analysis or risk management, particularly in a global context.
• Familiarity with security frameworks, incident response, and local regulations in the Philippines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, CISM)
• Experience with security tools and knowledge of local threats in the Philippines.
