The Opportunity

We're currently searching for Security Operations Project Manager who will be directly reporting to the Manulife Group Functions Technology. Our group consists of highly motivated and experienced professionals and is composed of members located across different Manulife locations such as Manila and North America.

This role will support the sustainment of Information Risk Management delivery across Global Technology and maturing key audit standard compliance-related workstreams which will ensure the compliance of our stakeholders with IT security standards and controls. The ideal candidate has experience meeting project deadlines in a high pressure, highly visible environment. The role requires the ability to understand internal IT security standards, ready to adapt with the ever-changing requirements of the business and collaborate with teams across the segment to implement solutions within time constraints.


Position Responsibilities:

    • Provide strong support and technical ownership in the transition of IT security and risk deliverables from build/program model to sustainment model.
    • Coordinate with segment/business leads and manage remediation activities by preparing options and resolution to resolve/remediate the identified risk including impact and target completion.
    • Work with the application team of the segment / business for the detailed planning and execution of IT security and risk workstream deliverables.
    • Provide support to the segment / business delivery lead in updating and communicating with the application teams the KRI requirements.
    • Facilitate any discussion with global team, BUSO, segment/risk owner and application team for the exception and/or remediation of vulnerability in the systems / IT components.
    • Monitor and analyze the information in the weekly report provided by the global including scanned results of compliance monitoring tool .
    • Collect data and follow up individual task owner to provide update to global and segment/business team.
    • Identification process improvement opportunities including but not limited to KRI Reporting process (e.g., reports automation, dashboard, etc.)
    • Creation of Service Request (SR) and Change Request (CR) to implement changes.
    • Chair IT Risk Delivery-related changes during the change management call (e.g., hardening).
    • Conduct research and attend training on common attack routes, new cyber security threats, trends and technologies.


    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT Security, other related field or any equivalent experience.
    • At least 3 years experience in business analysis and/or product ownership with exposure in Information Security, or Vulnerability and Risk Assessment.
    • Amenable to work on a night shift work schedule and hybrid work set up in Quezon City.
    • Good understanding on IT security especially in Vulnerability Management, Cryptographic, Technology Hardening, Logging and Monitoring, Identity and Access Management, etc.
    • Hands on experience in any of the vulnerability scanning tools like CyberArk, Qualys, Devo, Snyk, Lean IX, and GRC Archer.
    • Passion for cybersecurity.
    • Knowledge on IT security Operations, IT Operations, IT Network/Infrastructure, Information Security, Business Continuity Management, Network Security and Design, Advanced Networking/TCPIP.
    • Innovative problem-solving skills with the proven ability to exercise flexibility and judgment.
    • Ability to work on a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask.
    • Ability to automate the data management and reporting process using scripting languages.
